Numpad sits on both my laptops, and I would recommend it to anybody. This software tracks a cell phone in real time but making use of its IMEI no. I can live without them and most of them I didn't know existed until I searched, but I wonder why both have to be added. There are many symbols where Mr Google gives hex codes but not an accompanying Alt code so they can't be added. Somebody commented on it being a bit difficult to start adding keys, and you do have to study the Help section, but you don't do it very often so it's OK. And I love the feature where a text string can be added - I have keys for my various email addresses as I'm a slow typist. I frequently need fractions, é for café, and ° for temperatures, and even with an external keyboard with the number block I find it easier to use numpad than to remember the codes to use with the Alt key. Both of mine lack number option on the middle of the keyboard, but even if they were there I think this would be simpler to use. A wonderfully simple app that solves the problem of typing Alt codes on the average laptop. ![]()
